Final boards
I am happy with the way my boards have come out, i wanted to show the story or theme behind the chair design and i think ive done that well.
Presentation board attempt
this was my first attempt at doing my presentation boards, ive since decided to use the felt i used to show colour as my texture so have re done my boards. i also dont like the font or colouring of this board.

Rhino
Im happy with the actual chair design and the colours of the felt however im not completely happy with the way the texture has been applied to the chair unfortunatly i dont know how to change it an hope this gives a good enough idea of what i want. The dimentions are hard to see so im going to redo them on photoshop :) other than that im quite proud of what ive achived using this software and love the outcome.

Felt
Ive been researching felt and the best felt for me i think would be an artificial felt (don't like the idea of animal skin/fur whatever!) these need to have a minimum composition of 30% wool fibres with the rest being artificial fibres. it would be difficult to produce a stable fabric with a ratio lower than this. This type of felt is needle felted.

feedback
Feed back went well and I think I'm going in the right direction to finalising my chair...from the drawings Ive done one design stood out the most as having potential, the one with the bright centre (core) fading out to a lighter colour, I came up with this design looking at the photographs of explosions and adapted the centre of the explosion and the smoke around it into this particular design. Speaking with Neil Ive come to the decision felt would be an ideal material to use...
