today got me thinking...

after my lesson today and the very interesting feedback session i had i started to think about something that came up...deja vu...is it possible to have seen something before not necessarily saying it has to have been in a past life but just a past memory?? i think from this i want to start looking at past chair/furniture designs and re-inventing them, just like phillipe starck did with the louis chair. im basically going to try and keep my design quite subtle whilst also openly displaying the fact that this chair may have been around in the 20s, 30s, 40s who knows. hopefully this will evoke an emotion in someone that they sub consciously feel.
